Has anyone updated and is experiencing sound problems?

I've pretty much lost sound and I get :
Code:
MPEG Audio Decoder 0.15.2 (beta) - Copyright © 2000-2004 Robert Leslie et al.
audio: /dev/dsp: No such file or directory
returned when trying madplay in a terminal, unless I do :
Code:
su -
modprobe snd-pcm-oss
modprobe snd-mixer-oss
exit
madplay then works and I can adjust the volume of the output using kmix.
However, the system sounds don't play, the systemsettings audio output tests produce no sound and there is no sound watching flash videos.
I also tried a flac file in juk after installing gstreamer-plugins-good. No dice.
Audio was fine before I pulled the updates from Alpha to current rawhide.

Has anyone got an alsa problem like this or has this already been reported somewhere?

Thanks,
Zan

I've made a report and it appears pulseaudio and phonon are having some kind of problem.
Sound regression from F12 Alpha kde after update to rawhide current
Code:
su -
yum erase alsa-plugins-pulseaudio
exit
seems to restore sound to all other applications apart from kde ones that use phonon for now, so flash videos are back on the menu.
So at least sound is back and I don't use any kde phonon apps anyway. They're all cr*p.
Hopefully a pulseaudio update will fix.
