Installing on an Emachine M6805

Hi, I am trying to install FC2 64, I burned it on a DVD and it keeps on locking up on the Check CD screen. It doens't give me the option to skip it or continue.
Does anyone else have any experience with this?

Did the md5 sums match up? Perhaps you could try a network or harddrive install instead?

Is there any particular reason you installed FC2? I installed FC3 on my M6805 and had no problems. I didn't install the 64 bit version, and i used 4 cd's instead of the dvd. Let me know if you need any help with this (including getting the wireless working).
