Need help installing NetBeans 6.7

Hi all,

I am trying to install "netbeans-6.7.1-ml-linux.sh" on fedora11. I downloaded it and thats about as far as i got. I am a pretty new linux user and do not know what to do next. Is a .sh file even an excutable?

You might check this out. I don't use netbeans, but this seems to be how to install it.
