Wireless connection keeps on dropping

I have a ASUS F8Sn-C1 laptop with Fedora 11 installed and I am able to connect to my wireless networks (which require a WEP key) but after a few seconds/minutes (maybe while idle), the connection just drops. In that short time, I am able to access the internet. I recall being able to have Fedora 10 working just fine and maintaining a connection. There are no problems with range because I am able to maintain a strong connection from within Windows. The wireless card is Intel 4965AGN.

I am still slightly new to linux but am otherwise quite technologically qualified.

Have you looked in /var/log/messages after the wireless drops connection to see if it give you any reason as to why it is dropping the connection?
