LG GH22NS50 DVD drive media test + install error

Hello,

I have problems to install Fedora on an brand new hardware system using a LG GH22NS50 DVD drive. When I run the DVD test it stops at about 60 % telling me that the DVD is not working. So I tried 3 DVDs burned using different system where the DVD test was OK for all three of them.

When I try to install Fedora with any of these DVDs I always get errors after partitioning the hard drive. When the system starts to format the hard disk the system freezes.

Is anybody out there successfully using the LG GH22NS50 DVD drive with Fedora 11?

Kind regards,
Walter
