Matrox mystique in FC2

I don't really know what the problem is, but i get a lot of rendering errors (for example when scrolling any document) on my old PII w a matrox mystique card. This worked just fine in FC1.
Anyone who knows if there's a nice driver to change to or whatever this problem could be?
Sorry if my information isn't all that helpful, but i'm quite a noob at linux. So please forgive me =)
