Exclamation Fedora 12 Alpha Rawhide Help

I am really new to the whole linux thing. I wanted to upgrade to fedora 12. i have the boot option to upgrade, but when i boot from that it tells me it cant load /init and when i try to add the init=option to the kernel it says SWITCHING TO INTERRUPT MODE and it stops doing anything and sits there. any suggestions?

Really, at this point, Alpha isn't ready for newcomers. Even we old timers are having issues with it.

An alpha version means very new, not yet well tested and will not work in many cases.

If you just want to try Fedora, you're better off with Fedora 11. They are working hard to make the upgrade path smoother too, so that when F12 is ready, the upgrade may even be easy.
