dell d820 right arrow key issue

i've got fc11 running on a dell latitude d820, all is well, mostly. one really annoying thing though is the right arrow key, it doesn't work right. the up/down/left arrow keys work fine, even fn+those keys have no issues. just using the right arrow key however, it behaves oddly. it will put in a 'space' , 'b', 'bn/' or '/n' when trying to use it. i'm hoping someone has run into this and can help me out with it.

TIA
DarkSide

What method are you using to test what character is output by the right arrow? What screen or application shows a problem when you hit the right arrow?

gedit, cli anyhwere i might try to use the key. i first noticed it when trying to edit a command i had just run. simply hit up arrow to get the previous command to come up. used the left arrow to get to the part of the command i needed to edit, and when i tried to go back to the right i got the "bbbn/ n/ n/" junk.

I found out by Googling that your keyboard might need replacing, see this link:
