Question Project Management. Trac or GForge

i need a simple project management system. Should i go for Trac or GForge or is there something better out there? An important criteria is that it should work on a shared host.
My first Impression with Trac was that its a bit complicated to use. For eg. it doesn't seem to have a section for project releases. What do u guys think?
For the Version control system, I'm inclined towards git. Is Trac+Git that a good choice when using a shared host?
BTW, the shared host I'll be using is bluehost.

Depends on your needs. I've used dotProject in the past and although not the most feature rich out there, it's quite comprehensive and doesn't require any server settings changes.
