Just installed F-11 a few days ago (64-bit) on my PS3. Having trouble with distributed.net software. 6 of 7 cores load but don't run program. Dnet support indicates:
Look like your linux distro does not start SPU scheduler automatically. To
verify, check output of "mount" command. When scheduler is running, similar
line must exist:
spufs on /spu type spufs (...)
If you don't see filesystem of type spufs, SPU support on your system is not
started.
And I checked, and it isn't. Q: should I have installed 32-bit ppc, or is it the problem with spufs failing to load? And if so, how does it (or I get it) loaded? Or am I even looking at a re-install?
