Mac G5 won't shut down or reboot after installation F10

I am having trouble with my mac dual G5 after installing fedora 10.

I'm a bit novice in linux , and the http://www.bytebot.net/geekdocs/ibook/fedorappc.html
is over my intelligence.

-I bought a new hard drive (250 gb) clean
-Tried installing fedora 11 (did not recognize hard drive)
-downloaded fedora 10 , (burned it on dvd)
-started my dual G5 with only the 250 gb hard drive(empty )
-booted the dvd with "C"
-pressed linux
-than it booted up to install
-set all the installing parameters
-installed (successfully - at least that's how it said)
-clicked my reboot button
-and it said : " disabling swap
unmouting filesystems
Sending termination signals
sending kill signals
rebooting system
restarting system. "
- I hear the apple gong but the screen remains frozen with this "quotes"
- If i turn down the G5 from button , the next time it start's it boot's from dvd (or if i don't have the dvd in it it dose not boot - appears a folder in the middle of the screen- it requires dvd - i think)

What should I do?? (it's urgent )

In the future please don't double post. Identical question here, http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showth...83#post1250083 I suggest having a look at the forum guidelines, http://fedoraforum.org/?view=guide

Unfortunately I can't help with your issue, but I've retitled it so that it's more likely that it gets seen by people who could help. By removing one of the posts, Glenn did the same thing.

Please *do* read the forum guidelines, especially the part about descriptive titles. As your thread was, it was very unlikely that busy people would stop and look at it--putting urgent in the thread title just annoys people. Honest.

Hrrm, that's a bit rude, don't you think?

No, I'm still working, thank goodness, though who knows if that will last or not?

However, marking a thread as urgent is a bit solipsistic. It really tends to be counterproductive.

http://catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#urgent

(Actually, reading the whole article linked above is a good idea)

At any rate, I'm not sure what to recommend for the next step, as you haven't gotten any answers yet. However, honestly--I'm not trying to be mean--putting urgent in the title will make it less, not more, likely that it will be answered.
