Firefox java not working

Hello, I've migrated from ubuntu to fedora cause ubuntu was just too similar to windows.
i have been managing around a bit but still i cant get firefox or opera java working.
i installed the package from adobe. using YUM or .rpm. non of them work.
i've reinstalled almost everything but nothings working yet
any idea?

The flashplayer plugin is what you get from Adobe. If you want java go to www.java.com. See the following site for a nice tutorial on installing java in Fedora.

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

i want to get flashplayer plugin working, i can't see youtube videos.
any help?

Lets see what flash you have installed. Open a terminal window, type commands:

su -
rpm -qva |grep flash

----------
Also search for the installed file:

locate libflashplayer

flash-plugin-10.0.32.18-release.i386
[root@erotico baicunko]# locate libflashplayer
/usr/lib/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
/usr/lib/opera/plugins/libflashplayer.so
[root@erotico baicunko]#



Currently running Fedora 11 x64

Sounds like you installed the 32 bit version. Here is a link to how to install the 64 bit.
