I am using fedora 9 and I am unable to access wireless network now. when I click on the network manager icon on the top system tray. Under wireless network it says..
Code:
device is not managed
the wireless network is enabled..
Some help please...
Could you run service-config-network and check whether the device is managed by Network Manager. If its not, there should be an option, which says that the device is controlled by Newortk Manager.
thanks fellas for ur quick replies..
but the problem doesn't exist anymore.. it has started working properly again ..
Yes, it used to work properly earlier. But recently it didn't even show the list of available wireless networks and left clicking on the network manager showed that wireless networks were not being managed. So, i thought that something was wrong with the wireless system.
But when i booted into fedora again today after posting the wireless started working automatically.
