Angry Diablo II Install Problems

Well. Although I say Diablo II problem, it's really all games that require more than one disk really.
The problem is when it asks me to change disks during the installation, the drive doesn't eject. No problem. I just unmount it, or eject the drive via the terminal. Ok.
Then after I put the next disk in... Nothing. I can sit there and click ok all day. It doesn't work. Diablo II doesn't even give an error message. Other games do, and say something like the directory doesn't exist. Or that the disk might be copy protected (which is BS, cause in some cases the first disk will install just fine.)

Has anyone had this problem? Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

PS. It's also probably important to note that I'm using Wine.

if you had official diablo 2 then go to blizzard account and try to download downloadoble diablo version, which do not have cd protection.

It's one of those really annoying bugs that had me fustrated for a few hours as well, until I realized that the pop which reads "Insert disk blah" is actually behind the progress bar window sometimes! Try inserting the new disk and then hit "Enter" even if you can't see the window. That should make it press "OK" and continue the installation.

If not, axet has a good point: Register for a Battle.net account and once you enter a valid CD-Key for any Blizzard game, you will be able to download a full version of that game's client free of charge.

I didn't know I could do that. I think I'm going to try it. Cause I have the D2 and LOD expansion. So that will save me the headache...

I could see the window that said to click ok. Only it didn't do anything when I clicked it.
