Brightness keys (Fn+F7/F8) dont work.

Recently I installed Fedora 11 on my hp laptop.The model is pavilion dv6760.
Almost everything works except the keys to adjust the screen brightness(Fn+F7/F8).
For now I use the powerdevil plasmoid to adjust it.But why they dont work?
In other distros like debian,archlinux they worked like a charm.
Is there anything I can do?

Hmm I just tried to see if the keys are recognized by hal.
lshal -m

Start monitoring devicelist:
-------------------------------------------------
15:48:01.033: computer_logicaldev_input_0 condition ButtonPressed = brightness-down
15:48:02.143: computer_logicaldev_input_0 condition ButtonPressed = brightness-up
So they are recognized.
