I installed Fedora 11 on my WD 640GB SATA 2 HDD connected to my computer to SATA 1 mode(My mobo doesn't suppports SATA 2). A few days back I was working on Fedora 11 & suddenly the whole PC froze. Nothing worked & ultimately I had to hit reset button on front of my cabinet. After I was done rebooting, Fedora 11 now fails to go ahead of Plymouth screen.
I searched for the culprit & found a loose power cable to be the one which caused the freeze. Now when I pressed escape I found out that the Fedora partitions have developed some errors. How to run disk scan to clear those errors? I feel once those errors clear up, Fedora 11 should boot normally.
