waoshin ... this is so close to spam that you almost got yourself summarily banned. In fact ... I'm still mulling it over.

Regarding your question:

Looks like a nice knife ... but it's WAY overpriced most places I looked.

If you're going to spend that much cash ... get a PUMA.

Depends on what you want to do with it. My favorite dive knife isn't my hunting/fishing or camping knife. As for cutting seat belts & breaking windows, I have something a fisherman uses to cut nets (hooked). Total cost <$100 ~ 20yrs ago.

I think Puma is actually the OEM for the knife you are looking at. Their factory is in Soligen.

Google for Puma PFR models. You'll find the exact same knife through several US dealers at a much lower price. And I personally swear by Puma. It's all I've carried for twenty years.

EDIT: Try this. http://shop.pumaknives.com/puma-knif...ives-p-58.html

EDIT-2: For reference, this is the one I have used for 20+ years. Back when I used to do silly things like that ... I could easily shave with either blade.

When I was a young fellow, my grandfather had a skinning knife make in Solingen, Germany. It was incredibly sharp, and held an edge well. So about the same time I bought a hunting knife, maked "Solingen", and unfortunatly, it was a piece of junk. The steel was soft, and did not hold an edge long enough to skin a rabbit. I was very disappointed. I imagine it was a case of a company being bought out, and then traded on it's good name. I don't know, but I have never considered buying another "Solingen" product.

Regards,
Bob
