Fedora 11 boot problem
I have downloaded the i386-DVD.iso image and have burned it on a DVD using Nero Express 6, when it boots from the DVD, it give me an error message "Could not find kernel image: Linux" and the boot: prompt after that... anyone can help me with this problem??
I have burned another DVD using Infra Recorder with minimum write speed but with the same problem.
I have Ubuntu already installed on the computer.
Anyhelp please??

What program did you use to download the dvd iso image? They are usually over 2GB so the web browser won't work. Also you should run a sha256sum on the image to see if the hexadecimal number matches what it says it should be on the server you downloaded it from.

I have used Download Accelerator Premium (DAP), but I am sure that the problem is not from the download, the ISO file is complete, I have download from the fedoraproject.org website and it 3.43 GB

Start Ubuntu, Get F11 and burn it via Brasero or K3b

Brasero should be installed by default. Try
Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install k3b brasero&&sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

If it fails then you have to replace the burner.

Do you mean by burner the DVD writer drive itself? and why it should be the problem with the drive, I have already burned the Ubuntu iso file with it and worked perfectly. also I have burned many ISO files recently with the drive with no problems.
anyway I will try to burn it with my desktop drive and see if that seems to work, although I am not into this idea!
