Windows zoom

Hi
I have just installed FC 11, however, when I use KDE (my preference), the desktop is fine but when I run any application it runs with a zoomed in screen (the zoom may be X20) and I can only see File, Edit and View parts of the menu.

GNOME on the other hand works fine without problems.

How can I set the screen correctly in KDE ? only when I run applications!!

regards,
mha
