[SOLVED]Rename firefox icon desktop link

How do I rename my desktop icon link for Firefox? I tried the shortcut menu by right-clicking the icon and clicking Rename. Doesn't stick. I tried to rename it in Properties. Still doesn't stick. Any help out there would be great! :-)
