fedora 11 doesn't blank the screen when laptop lid is closed

In power management I put "Blank screen" when laptop lid is closed. This used to work before getting the latest update which included the gnome power manager I think.

So essentially, when I close the lid the screen continue to be on even though I have set to "blank screen" when laptop lid is closed in power manager settings...

I tried looking around using gconf-editor, but found nothing out of the ordinary, is this a bug?

I think it's a problem with new kernel that I got with the latest update

I just switched back to the old kernel (2.6.18.29.4-167.fc11.i686.PAE) that ships with fedora 11 and everything seems to be working fine

I think it's a bug with the kernel 2.6.18.29.5-191.fc11.i686.PAE
