does rosetta stone work fully on wine?

i dont have a windows licence right now, i only have fedora.

i need a language learning software, and i heard that rosetta stone is the best. what i want to know does it completely and properly run on wine, without any hiccups? has anyone tried to run that on wine?

i wish to know that because rosetta stone CDs are very costly...and i want to think before i buy them...

and are there any free, alternative , open-source-based software that provide the similar features as rosetta stone? ok it doesnt even have to free or open-source, are there any decent alternatives at all?

thanks...

You can check the Wine AppDB: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...ation&iId=1867

With recent versions of wine (1.x) and rosetta stone (3.x), it seems that it works fairly well.
