Unable to open some website

Hi,
I just installed Fedora 10 and I noticed that some website is not viewable where an error prompt saying that it is not able to connect to the site occured. However I don't have any problem if I uses Windows XP. Can someone kindly explain why this error happened and how I am able to fixed it?

did u enable any flash block or a filter?

Not that I know off. I have not configure anything since installation. Can you advice how to check that out?
