Apache and Tomcat

I've posted about this before but I thought I might get better luck in a different category.

Anyway, i have fedora core 2, apache 2, j2ee 1.4 installed and they all work perfectly fine on their own. I installed the tomcat rpm and the mod_jk2 rpm. Tomcat works fine on its own. My question is are there any other configurations needed to make apache and tomcat work together so that I can host jsp pages on apache? I would think that the rpms configure everything automatically, but it is not working for me now.

I'm sorry to post about this so many times but I am really discouraged about this. Any help at all would be a big hand.

As I've said before, the Tomcat RPMs are somewhat experimental. If you've not been able to successfully transition Apache requests to the Tomcat server, you might want to ditch the Tomcat RPM and download the binaries from http://jakarta.apache.org and follow their instructions.

I wouldn't use the gcj Tomcat RPM's from Fedora.

Here is a somewhat rudimentary howto I did a while back to set somebody off with all this.
http://mikepalmer.net/howto

Just use it from the JDK section on. And the RPM package is fine for java. Just switch to /usr/local to /usr/java
