Cool Remaster the iso for usb boot

I wrote an article for LXer.com describing the power and portability of live usb systems in ubuntu, and a fedora user commented the same functions are available in fedora. Curiosity got the best of me and I now have fedora 10 installed on two of my laptops. The one I'm currently working with is an Acer Aspireone, and I have it also on my dell 1505.. I have installed livecd-creator, revisor, and kickstart, but I can't seem to get kickstart configured correctly and have fat fingered live cd creator so badly that all of my attempts to create a live cd have failed miserably. Could someone help me out with this. I like the power of fedora, and want the flexibility to work with deb and rpm files.

I have used "livecd-creator" from the terminal to create working livecds using the generic .ks files and have also added extra package selections and repos to create custom spins. The .ks files are located in /usr/share/spin-kickstarts.

could someone go through the process of remastering the ISO and kickstart file. I want to make my fedora installation portable to three of my laptops. I'm not finding a whole lot of information on how to create the ISO.

I do not think that remastering is possible with Fedora 11 at this time using "livecd-tools" or Revisor. I haven't been able to create a decent live cd with extra packages since Fedora 9. With all the new stuff like ext4 and such it may be a while before things get sorted with creating live images.

EDIT: OK did some digging in the available kickstart files and fiddled with them via enabling repos free and nonfree but had no luck creating a live image.
The good part is that while browsing the packages in yumex there was a couple of packages from rpmfusion that contained rpmfusion-free and non-free remix
kickstart files to be used with the official fedora .ks files. I was able to successfully create a livecd image with rpmfusion packages and installed it to a 4GB usb stick
and it works well. The finished size was 781.9MB to big for a cd but works for the 4GB usb. I used livecd-creator to produce the image.

Cool

If portability is my goal with this Fedora Box, should I revert to Fedora 9 and use Fedora 11 for my home server?
