graphics trouble with various programs

I am having trouble running various programs because of graphics issues. the one program in start trek bridge commander demo using wine and the other is the SuperTux game. when ever i try running ether of those programs they seem to load fine but all that is displayed is colored horizontal lines. anyone know what might be going on?. i don't think it is a hardware problem because i was able to run the SuperTux game on this computer a while back but i had to reinstall everything. I can post a screenshot if that would help. also my graphics card is built into the motherboard.

It's sort of a good idea to post your specs if you got a problem, tends to make it easier for people to help you.

My guess is you haven't installed 3d drivers for your card.

There are quite few compaq deskpro EN listed on HP's site. Check for the correct model and look at the specs on HP site to find out the GPU (probably Intel or SiS).
