Block port 5353 ??

How do I block port 5353(mdns) in Fedora 9. The only port I intentionally opened is 22(ssh). nmap also says only 22 is enabled; yet our company security claims to be able to do a limited probe of the system through port 5353. I turned off smolt with no effect.
