rawhide boot really slowed by local mount attempt+ failures on /dev/sr0,1

I have a Dell Optiplex 755 tower at work, it has Fedora 11 rawhide. Booting it is slowed down a lot because for some reason it tries to look for media at /dev/sr0 and sr1 and puts out an error message that there's no media there. My home box (also F11 rawhide) doesn't do this at all, is this a quirk caused by that Office Dell PC having two optical drives and my home PC has just one?

I can confirm when having plugged in my iPod while booting. However, in my case I can only blame my BIOS since it happens twice. First before the grub menu, second after the grub menu, just before the kernel starts. As the kernel then doesn't have any problems (neither userspace), it seems (again in my case at least) the issue is really in the bios.

So, maybe you have the same thing going on. Otherwise, I'm afraid I can't really help w/o any more information.

Cheers,
Jan

P.S. Wow, my first post ..
