USB auto mount

Hi,

I'm new to Linux system. I used fedora 9 through virtualbox. after installing the Linux guest additon now my usb is not mounting automatically. To access the shared folder with host i played arount mount command. but didn't change any configuration.
Please help me to correct this problem.
