CPU overheating in F10

Anyone know what would cause my CPU to overheat when running a game? I have no heating problems when running in Windows Vista. The game that I was testing in F10 was Lord of the Rings Online. I installed it through Crossover Games and then installed the Linux Launcher for the game (http://www.lotrolinux.com/).

System Configuration:

Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS
AM3 AMD Phenom II X4 810 2.6GHz
Kingston DDR3 RAM - 4GB

After running LoTRO, my processor was running at 115F. My processor has never ran that high while in windows.

Now, my motherboard does not see my RAM correctly. I'm currently waiting for some qualified Corsair RAM to arrive. I read somewhere in these forums that bad ram could cause the processor to run hot.

Anyone else having similar issues with F10?

Your CPU's maximum operating temperature is 68C.

memory not correctly detect, did occur with me before.. with fedora7... fixing it by upgrading the kernel. It was not really require to set swap space as big as your installed memory. 2GB of swap partition is the max ( probably change recently ,, not keeping up with the current ).

Not having on memory misdetection after upgrading to FC10.

Do you have same memory spec in each slot? does it in a group according to your mobo?
