thunderbird add-ons

Is there a way of installing Lightning and Zindus on thunderbird 3.0b2?

Code:
Lightning 0.9 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Thunderbird 3.0b2.

Actually, I downloaded the (development) versions from Lightning/Zindus websites and it seems to be working.
