Angry Horde 3.3 configuration problem in Fedora 10 (solved)

Hi all,

I have a small problem with running Horde 3.3 under Fedora 10. After installing the framework and start running it, Horde tells me that "Could not save the configuration file /var/www/html/horde/config/conf.php.

I have tinkered with owners, groups, permissions, iptable and even SELinux, and the problem still persists. Has somebody else encountered a similar issue and managed to solve it?

It turned out to be a SELinux issue after all. The configuration scripts that comes with the Horde tarball distro were not properly labelled for SELinux (in Fedora 10). After using chcon to fix the labels the problem is solved.

You can expect this when installing from non-standard sources, v3.2 is available in the repositories.

But thanks for the feedback on solving the issue with v.3.3, it should save others some hair-pulling.
