yum install kernel-headers and kernel-devel without internet access

Hi,

I am trying to install a network driver for a machine. The OS is fedora 9.
Is there any way to yum install kernel-headers and kernel-devel without internet access?

I tried yum install from DVD but doesn't seems to have "kernel-devel" package.

Please help~Thanks!

yum needs an Internet access but if you'd like to install RPMs you can just use the rpm command to install what ever you want

I just download kernel-2.6.25-14.fc9.src.rpm
and do
rpm -ivh kernel-2.6.25-14.fc9.src.rpm

After that, I still cannot be able to make driver for the network card. Am I missing something?

Quote:
make
#@make -C /lib/modules/2.6.25-14.fc9.i686/build M=/home/fai/et131x-1.2.3-2 modules
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.25-14.fc9.i686/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
make: *** [modules] Error 2

Hello:
The src rpm is not what you need.

Grab both of the following rpms (for your correct arch)
kernel-devel-2.6.25-14.fc9
and
kernel-headers-2.6.25-14.fc9

For 32bit
http://fedora.secsup.org/linux/relea...6/os/Packages/
or for 64bit
http://fedora.secsup.org/linux/relea...4/os/Packages/

To install:
Place them both in the same directory and run

rpm -ivh *.rpm
