Unable to login via KDE GUI, only console login available

Problem:

I am on Fedora 10 KDE version. and used to have no problem login via the GUI interface. Recently, I have been kept going back to where I type my password after loggining via the GUI interface. All my passwords are correct and I can use the same password to login via the console environment.

I found that I have to type "startx" in console to start the KDE desktop..

Something Wrong? It should be default.

Check that your run level is set to 5. I think if you get a graphic error it will set your run level to 3.

It's been checked that it's on run level 5.

P.S

1) If it's not, "startx" won't work
2) I didn't change anything in the /etc/inittab

I have found a solution.

After Plymouth finishes loading, click the session button to choose KDE.

...It should be default ... but I have no idea why it was set to "none"
