Pidgin Crashes

No error, no log file, pidgin just crashes all the time. Is this specific to me or common to F10 users?

Try running it from the command line. See if there's any error output generated there when it crashes, or for that matter, even when the program starts...

@Demz The crash is not predictable as such. I could be typing a chat message and away it goes. Sometimes just as it starts up. Sometimes when scrolling through the list of online buddies

@glenzoo Started it via konsole. Will post if anything comes up

could it be a Compiz-fusion thats causing the crash, try not enabling Compiz . it could well be a Plugin thats causing the crashes

by the way what compiz-fusion are you using?. the stock one or leigh123@linux's compiz?

It (finally) crashed from the terminal with this output:
Code:
...
E: shm.c: mmap() failed: Cannot allocate memory
E: shm.c: mmap() failed: Cannot allocate memory
Pidgin 2.5.5-1.fc10 has segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file.
This is a bug in the software and has happened through
no fault of your own.

If you can reproduce the crash, please notify the developers
by reporting a bug at:
http://developer.pidgin.im/simpleticket/

Please make sure to specify what you were doing at the time
and post the backtrace from the core file. If you do not know
how to get the backtrace, please read the instructions at
http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/GetABacktrace
[arthur@platypus ~]$
These are the plugins I have enabled:

ExtPlacement 2.5.5-1.fc10
history 2.5.5-1.fc10
Message notification 2.5.5-1.fc10
Nautilus integration 0.8

Further, I have a plugin on Amarok 2.0.2 that updates my status with the currently playing song. The plugin is called PdginStatus version 0.2
