Mounting a media card reader

I went all Linux on my laptop. i have a built in media card reader and i cant figure out how to mount it.. any suggestions..

Also i have a partition on my hard drive thats 100GB that i dont use for anything i was wondering how i could merge it into my primary linux partition.. any suggestions
