Newbie Wireless Help

need some help please. I have an IBM T30 with a Prisim 2.5 WaveLan Chipset. I have configured many windows machines to connect to my netgear 802.11g router with no problems. using the same configurations for the T30 I never get a connection to the router.

can anyone supply help? I have Fedora 2.68-1521
