Question Need higher resolution on i845G with 22" monitor

I have just installed Fedora 10 and all went well except that the resolution is set to 1024x768, which is not cool on a 22" HP w2207h LCD monitor. When I bring up Monitor Resolution Setting the Mirror Screens is checked and 1024x768 is the highest resolution. If I uncheck Mirror Screens and select "Laptop" I am able to select 1680x1050, but it now has my desktop in the upper left hand corner of my monitor.

Should I be looking for a driver for my i845G graphics processor?

Thanks in advance,
Val

PS: I am new to using Linux please be patient with my ignorance.

I have been searching for answers on the web and many refer to modifying my xorg.conf file. I looked for this file and it does not seem to exist on F10. Do I need to create a xorg.conf file?

Resolved !

As I mentioned this was a new install. After some updates were installed the "Monitor Resolution Settings" is now allowing me to set the resolution to 1680x1050.

Thank you for the upgrade, who ever you are. Screen now look great !

Regards,
Val
