Question Creative Vibra 16C ISA Card not found :(

Howdy guys,

I just installed Fedora Core II a couple of days ago. I've finally got YUM and NTFS support working (last Linux distro I used was Mandrake 9 about a year ago, it's good to have a decent distro now).

I am having problems getting my soundcard configured though.

It's an ISA Creative Vibra 16C. I set "Plug and Play OS" in the BIOS to "No" if that helps, but I don't know what else to do :S The card isn't detected when I run system-config-soundcard ("No sound cards were detected").

Thanks to anyone that can help!

isa cards are legacy items....you will be better off using a pci sound card, to be honest use a sound blaster live!

Yeah I might just do that, my whole computer is a legacy item (PII 350)! But there must be some way to get it working with ALSA?
