[SOLVED]Changing background wallpaper of the desktop

To whom it may concern:

I am trying to change the background wallpaper of the desktop but I don't know how. Running F10KDE. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using gnome, but everything on everything i've ever used you can just right click on your desktop and it will give you that option. Or if you right click on the picture you want to change it to it will give you the option to make that your background.

metatron is right. Select Appearance settings when you right click. You can also reach that some setting and many others on System Settings.

There are three methods for changing the background, either by clicking with the right hand mouse button on the current desktop background and selecting Change Desktop Background, selecting the Administration->Preferences->Look and Feel->Appearances menu option, or clicking with the right hand-mouse button on an image in the web browser and selecting Set As Desktop Background. The latter method allows you find images from one of the many web sites that provide them and quickly make it your background. (From: http://www.techotopia.com/index.php/...top_Background)
