Poll on Bugzilla google search engine feature
Hi guys,
please decide on the bugzilla google search engine feature.
This poll is public. Everybody will be able to see you choice. The decision is binding once one of the options reaches 60 votes. In a really clear situation 30 votes are enough. The vote will close on the 14.04.2009.
Please give us elaborate feedback here:
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=219287
Edit/Delete Message
Edit: For your information, if you use NoScript, you will need to enable scripts from http://www.gmodules.com. The new Search features appear together with the original forum search under the Search button in the top navigation bar.

It's a yes from me, I think both this and the Google search are great additions to the forum.

The google search boxes don't appear unless you are logged in. Is it possible to make them appear to unregistered users too (which would be desirable, it will help take the search load off our server)
(In fact, every time an unregistered user clicks the search link it generates a heavy load just in creating the captcha protected advanced search page each time)

Is it possible, that users, who click no explain their decision? It is much more interesting why people oppose a decision, than why they support it. It contributes much more to improving the forum!

OK, I have enabled it for unregistered users, it was the human verification process which stopped it, I disabled the captcha and replaced it with a 60 second wait between searches.

great, the new search box is looking very nice
(Just don't make it any taller, it barely fits the height of the firefox window on my netbook)

That's why I was hoping we could change the layout a bit (see here) - but that aside, it's perfect as is IMO.

I'm not sure it's possible to remove the "Google+" button and the "Create your own Custom Search Engine" links.
Edit: I have played with the format a bit, what do you think?

I'm happy either way. I have a 19" screen, though.

Well, I was kidding, a bit. NoScript blocked Gmodules so I didn't see anything besides Tag and Advanced Search.
