Sound applet on Gnome panel behavior

Hi,
I've just upgraded my FC1 to FC2 and the sound control applet on gnome panel is acting strangely.
Don't know if it is only a problem of my installation or if it is a bug, but what wappens is that I can only have sound if I keep it at maximum volume, other way it simply reduces de sound volume gradually until I have no sound at all.

Is there anyone else with the same problem?

What exactly happens? At any level other than max the sound gradually fades away? If this happens, does the volume slider follow the volume change?

Must be a Bug

Well it must be a bug...

When I open gnome-volume-control, i can put the sound at any volume and it works as it was suposed to. The panel slider remains at max , but at least I can control the volume when I use headphones...

I hope a fix will be out soon...
