FC10 Grub Install Options , dual boot

ok, all solved , to dual boot

install windows first, then pop in a fc10 dvd.

click manual config, ( no dynamic volumes )

on sda

ntfs ( slow doze )

make a boot partition, 200 megs
make a root partition, $$$ gigs

swap = twice ur memory, so 20 gig swap for 10 gigs of ram

tell grub to use the sda of the boot partition.

Now you are done, edit /boot/grub/grub.conf

I boot Fedora10, Fedora 11 Beta, Vista and Windows 7. No problems. Additionally, I've been doing this sort of thing on several computers for years now.

How many drives do you have? Only time I've had trouble with the chroot command is when rescue mode couldn't or didn't find the proper partition.
