    Unhappy YUM error

    I get this when I try to run YUM, anyone know what the problem is?

    Strange, I had the same problem recently, solved by doing this:

    rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db*
    db45_verify /var/lib/rpm/Packages
    rpm --rebuilddb
    Registered Linux User #221895

    if that doesn't work for you then Nokia's advice in this thread, http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showth...db+open+failed, post #2 might do the trick. Very similar to what EnglandA has suggested.
