virtualization Unable to open a connection to the Xen

HI.
I am new in virtualization, i am running fedora 10 x64 bits and when I run the virt-manager i get these messages:.

Unable to open a connection to the Xen hypervisor/daemon.

Verify that:
- A Xen host kernel was booted
- The Xen service has been started

Unable to open connection to hypervisor URI 'xen:///':
error interno failed to connect to xend
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/connection.py", line 483, in _open_thread
None], flags)
File "/usr/lib64/python2.5/site-packages/libvirt.py", line 99, in openAuth
if ret is None:raise libvirtError('virConnectOpenAuth() failed')
libvirtError: error interno failed to connect to xend

The procedure in order to istall the virtual machine was.

#yum groupinstall virtualization
#yum install xen

Then reebot the machine, that's all
I read #In order to support virtualization, the CPU must, at a minimum, support the PAE extension"

In my macrhine I get this:
# grep pae /proc/cpuinfo
flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss ht tm pbe syscall nx lm constant_tsc arch_perfmon pebs bts rep_good nopl pni monitor ds_cpl est tm2 ssse3 cx16 xtpr sse4_1 lahf_lm

Could anyone help me please?

Thanks

I never could get xen to connect. Try setting up a vm with kvm/qemu. That would actually connect with me. Though I took out all the VM stuff months back cause it was just causing so many hassles. I think xen is in limbo as it's using an old way of virtualizing that works with fedora 9 and 8 but doesn't go with the new way 10 does it.

kvm/qemu works well but lack of being able to use SDL and having anything other than ancient graphics capability makes it not very usable for having a windows virtual machine with at least enough capabilities to negate having native OS.

Unable to open connection to hypervisor URI 'xen:///':
error interno failed to connect to xend
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/connection.py", line 483, in _open_thread
None], flags)
File "/usr/lib64/python2.5/site-packages/libvirt.py", line 99, in openAuth
if ret is None:raise libvirtError('virConnectOpenAuth() failed')
libvirtError: error interno failed to connect to xend

Get used to seeing that message. I went through 4 updates of libvirt and would see that but with a different opening complaint everytime i tried to make a machine use anything but tablet/4k graphics/DVD. Xend backend is not done, SDL is not done, etc etc.
