Connot retrive repository metada(repomd.xml) for repository: Error

Hi,
I recently installed fedora 10 in my system. And then tried to install nvidia drivers through yum install option.But i got the following error

[root@localhost hareesh]# yum install kmod-nvidia
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: rpmfusion-free-updates. Please verify its path and try again

I get the same error for all the software i try to install through yum command. I also tried to update the system Through System->Administration->Update System .. When i tried to refresh for updates i got the following..

Repository configuration invalid and could not be read
Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: rpmfusion-free-updates. Please verify its path and try again

Kindly help me out of this situation as i am not able to install any software. Thanks in advance

i believe that was talked about in another thread, try doing

yum clean all

yum update

This link, http://rpmfusion.org/FAQ#head-33eabc...a49721cd27871a, works for me. I had been getting the same errors the last 2 days so I made the change and all is well for now. Used the command

su -c "sed -i 's|^#baseurl|baseurl| ; s|^mirrorlist|#mirrorlist|' /etc/yum.repos.d/rpmfusion*free*repo"
