Wireless card problems

Ok, I'll explain what I've done and then what I'm having trouble with.

I've downloaded and installed ndiswrapper and configured it properly and the profile is sitting Network Configuration tool. I've configured the profile properly. The driver is there and there are no problems with anything like that, from what I can see atleast.

Here's my problem. My card slot light on my laptop turns on, however my card doesn't turn on. So, I know the slot is working properly, however I can't get Linux to see the Card.

I've looked around in the BIOS and found nothing that might help, and I've searched the net for just about everything I can think of, and I'd be damned if I could find anything to get it to work.

** EDIT: My wireless card is a 54g Belkin wireless adapter. Model no. F5D7010.

You can try what I did at http://fedoranews.org/contributors/e_a_graham_jr/ndis/ and see if that approach works.

I tried that link, however no such luck.

I still can't get my card to turn on. I just thought of something, could the fact that I'm installing a wrong driver for Linux for my card be a problem? I'm almost 100% sure that I've got the right driver. I've downloaded them off the net, and I've used the CD that came with my card.

I'm wondering this 'cause my card turned on during bootup in Windows, and I'm not sure if the Driver did this, or if it was something else that turned it on.

I've got another Wireless card, not very good quality, but in relatively short distances, it's got nice speed. If I am just as unsuccessful with this, then I'll be as lost as anyone can be. lol

** UPDATE: I've tried the new card, and I noticed something. Linux does recognize that there's a card inserted, however, the card doesn't turn on. When I try

loadndisdriver nwp11nds

It says

Unable to put file (check dmesg for more info): Device or resource busy

When I check out dmesg, it says this

Cannot add duplicate driver

I've got to be doing something wrong, but I have no idea what I am doing... lol
