Problem installing blender

nstalling Problem

Hi Friends,

i am using fedora 9. when i install blender in fedora(yum install blender ) it install blender successfully.
but when i run blender it wont work.just one window appear and suddenly disappear. then i open terminal and type blender. then it show following message.

$ blender
Compiled with Python version 2.5.1.
Checking for installed Python... got it!
Failed to initialize TTM buffer manager. Falling back to classic.
/usr/bin/blender: line 38: 10155 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/blender.bin $@
[]$



what is the problem. how can i solve this .
please help me.
