Raid with P4P800E deluxe Promise and FC2

Hi,
I can now use a raid solution on my setup.
Soft setup :
FC2
kernel 2.6.8-1.521 (not recognized on 2.6.6)
raidtools
madm
Hard setup :
p4p800E deluxe
Promise sata raid onboard
2x160 giga sata (each on his connector)

I set up a raid1 (mirror) between these 2 disks
here is my raidtab
raiddev /dev/md0
raid-level 1
nr-raid-disks 2
nr-spare-disks 0
persistent-superblock 1
chunk-size 32
device /dev/sda
raid-disk 0
device /dev/sdb
raid-disk 1

I will experience with chunk size of 32.
I can write my entire process if needed, just ask.

Some questions :
Do u think of a better setup for my raid array ?
Do u think I use the best of the promise controller ?

If you can get it configured you are better off using the Promise controller. By using the controller you offload the raid process from your main CPU thereby freeing up the cpu for other tasks.

If I understand well, I'm using a software raid not my hard one from the promise controller ?
oh **** ...
Think I have to wait for a suitable promise driver for fc2 ...
Anyone got news ? I heard it was for July, then August, then September ...
