I wanted to know if there were any security issues with having lampp installed. I installed it to test out my php pages etc. without actually having to host it on a server. I didn't setup any security with it at first, but I didn't have it running while I was connected online. I just recently set up passwords for it and that with /opt/lampp/lampp security. I wanted to know for one, if the ports open if I run lampp and two, if I don't have it running would any unwanted people be able to connect to me. I'm not really used to fedora and can't even figure out if my ports are open or not and I don't even know if the firewall is blocking people from connecting to me. I'm used to ubuntu and ufw where I just set ufw to deny all and turn on logging so that it reports in my log files as [UFW Blocked Input] ... if people tried to connect to me.
